Balboa Swing
From 1930s Southern California, the Balboa dance is fun and groovy, but also subtle, sophisticated, and refined. If you want to be able to dance to those incredible up-tempo swing songs all night long, this is the dance for you!
When:
Tuesday nights
6:30 pm: Level 1 - Balboa Fundamentals (Beginners welcome every week!)
7:45 pm: Level 2 - Balboa Explorers (Intermediate and above)
8:45 pm: Free Practice/Social Dancing Time
COST:
Level 1 - $19 Adults ($16 concession card holders)
Level 2 - $19 ($16 c.) L2 students may attend the Level 1 class on the same night at no additional cost.
*It's $1 more to pay at the door.*
To be eligible for the concession rate, you must have one of the following cards: Full-Time Student Card, Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.
We ask that you book each class through our store so that we can ensure a reasonable lead-follow ratio, avoid exceeding our venue capacity limits, and alleviate traffic jams at check-in time.
Level 2 students may attend the Level 1 class on the same night at no additional cost
(Arrive 10 mins early to check-in.)
